Free Accuplacer Math Practice Test (With Answers & Step-by-Step Solutions)
Test your skills with 10 Accuplacer-style math questions — each with a worked solution — then keep practicing with free worksheets and study books.
What’s on the Accuplacer Math Test?
The Accuplacer helps colleges place you into the right math course. It is untimed and computer-adaptive, so questions get harder or easier based on your answers.
There are three math tests. Arithmetic covers whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages. Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra & Statistics (QAS) covers ratios, proportions, linear equations, basic algebra, and statistics. Advanced Algebra & Functions (AAF) covers quadratics, functions, radicals, and trigonometry.
Each test has about 20 multiple-choice questions, and an on-screen calculator is available on certain questions. There is no penalty for wrong answers, so answer everything.
Scoring: each Accuplacer test is scored from 200 to 300. Your college sets the cut scores that determine your placement, so check your school’s requirements.
