What’s on the CLEP College Mathematics Test?
The CLEP (College-Level Examination Program) College Mathematics exam covers the math a non-math-major would take to fulfill a general-education requirement — pass it and you can earn college credit without taking the course.
It has 60 questions in 90 minutes, drawn from: Algebra & Functions, Counting & Probability, Data Analysis & Statistics, Financial Mathematics, Geometry, Logic & Sets, and Numbers.
An on-screen graphing calculator is built into the exam for questions that need one.
Scoring: CLEP exams are scored from 20 to 80. The American Council on Education (ACE) recommends granting credit at a score of 50, but confirm your college’s required score.
